Mike Muldoon, the group's songwriter, vocalist and guitar and harmonica player hails from Long Island, New York. Living near New York City gave him the opportunity to experience all kinds of music. From pop to jazz, to classical, folk, and rock, Mike's musical sensibility defies simple definition. His songwriting has earned him an ASCAP Songwriters Award at Birmingham's City Stages festival, and led to appearances at the Kerrville Folk Festival, the Mississippi River Music Festival and a feature on TNN's "American Magazine". Mike also wrote the title track to the Chris LeDoux Capitol Records release "One Road Man."

Richard Felton, the bass player, was born and raised in Fayette, Mississippi, just outside of Natchez. Influenced by southern gospel, r&b, pop, and jazz, Richard spent his formative years playing with the Felton Singers gospel group. At Alcorn State University, where he studied music, Richard had the opportunity to play with jazz legends Freddie Hubbard and Randy Brecker, and began developing his unique playing style. Richard's approach to the bass gives it a personality all of it's own, and adds an incomparable dimension to the sound of Muldoon Felton Goold.

Jeff Goold is the group's percussionist. Influenced by the many different kinds of music he heard as a youngster growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeff has played with some of the most respected singers and songwriters around, including Bill Miller, Steve Forbert and Anthony Crawford. Austin City Limits and public radio's Mountain Stage are just two credits on this well travelled player's resumé.
